In the late Victorian bow shaped style often work at the collar, this impressive antique brooch features two very beautifully carved Romanesque shell cameos set either side of the central shield shaped 'boss' which is all in gentle 9ct yellow Gold and laid over with applied floral decoration. Inspired by the craze for archaeological jewels this is a later piece and may have been made from a pair of earrings as we've seen often before. A wonderfully original historic wink, this piece may well be your most versatile jewel! All completely hand made, it measures 5.5cm end to end and closes with a 'C' clasp.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
