A sumptuous antique brooch with a marvellously exotic Austrian-Hungarian Heritage. Circa 1890's, it features a feathery feminine design with such super-decorative scrollery around the central panel which is set with a beautifully adularescent Moonstone and pretty blue hand-cut pastes.
Stones: a Moonstone and hand cut Paste 'gems' imitating Sapphires.
Metal: In Continental Silver, tested but unmarked.
Measurements: 4cm across lengthwise.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
