Circa 1820, we're just in love with this matching pair of antique Georgian seal and watch key on their original carved split ring!!
The seal is engraved to the base with the charming quote...
'VIRTUE ALONE IS TRUE NOBILITY'
Both richly ornamented in the Rococo fashion in rich 15ct yellow Gold over a Steel base, they would make such an interesting pendant or addition to a charm collection. On a gorgeous floriate split ring which can be opened to add further pieces, they are both wonderfully full of old fashioned charm!
Please note there is substantial wear to the Gold case over the fob, particularly around the base where it would have been held. It is solid 15ct Gold to the base (where the engraving is) and 9ct Gold to the split ring.
The ring measures 18mm across; the key 3cm and the seal 2.6mm. Chain is for display and not included in the sale.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
