Lovely quality, this gorgeous and striking antique 18ct Yellow Gold signet ring is cast in a wonderfully deep shield shape signifying heritage and familial ties. The finish has a gorgeously warm patina and is such a handsome piece to keep and hand down in your family.
It is possible to ask our artisan hand engraver to personalise with some initials... we have included some images of the original engraving (now removed) for inspiration.
Metal: 18ct Gold. It was fully hallmarked at the Chester Assay Office (read our BLOG article here) and there is a maker's mark which could be for John Gammage who had workshops in London and Birmingham. It weighs 6.3 grams.
Ring Size: The ring size is a 'P' or '7.5' as is but we are able to alter the size to suit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
