Antique Early Victorian Gemstone REGARD Ring

Dating from a romantic period when such sentimentality was indulged; expressions of the heart such as hand written letters and scented handkerchiefs, locks of hair and Acrostic jewels were highly regarded. The kind of slow reflective aspects to life we all miss nowadays. 

The setting is all hand crafted with pretty 18ct Gold beads and flowers picked out to the shoulders; the glimmer of the tiny hand cut gems is enchanting; reading across are: Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and finally Diamond. 

This is a very special and delicate antique ring which dates back almost two centuries, and as such should be worn with great care and reverence as she'll not stand up to the vivacity of our active modern lives. 

Stones: the variegated gems spell the work 'REGARD'. 

Metal: 18ct yellow Gold. Tested but unmarked. 

Ring Size: P and a half or 7.75 as is but unsuitable to alter.
