Dating to the mid 20th century, a magically fascinating and very lovely vintage cocktail ring in a most glamorous cluster design which speaks of enchanted soirees. An impressive vision on the hand, the charmingly hand faceted deep midnight blue natural Sapphire has large facets which glint enticingly at each turn of the hand with a lightness in the framing of tiny antique hand-cut Diamonds which also continue to the shoulders.
The electric blue stone weighs 4.27 carats and has been unset and assessed at GCS Gemmological Services and a certificate accompanies this piece. It states that the Sapphire is natural with no signs of heat treatment and is of balsatic (volcanic) origin.
All is finely crafted by an artisan with thought to every aspect... you can see this in the delightful decorative filigree metalwork to the under gallery. Entirely unique, this ring is a very special find and precious in all the story it holds. Ethically sound as a choice as all is recycled and original with so many aspects of interest to admire.
Stones: natural certificated Ceylon Sapphire and natural antique hand cut Diamonds
Metal: Platinum to the whole (tested but unmarked).
Ring Size: A ring size 'L' or '5.5' we can alter to suit for free if you leave a message on your order form.
Measurements: the cluster measures 17.7mm by 11.7 mm.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
