A most special and lovely antique jewel to treasure forever! Taking inspiration from Art Nouveau ideas, this antique Turquoise and Wild Pearl lavaliere pendant dates to around 1890 and has a British origin. Hand crafted with a skilled hand, all is a miniature marvel of precision; the pieces of Gold hand cut and soldered, the creamily lustred Pearls hand dived, split and set to the sumptuous floriate arrangement. Turquoise and Pearls always have the romantic connotation of 'Forget-me-not' as enshrined in the Victorian language of flowers.
This piece is a superior example of its kind and beautifully crafted with an artistic eye.
Stones: Natural Turquoise and natural Sea Pearls
Metal: 9ct yellow Gold with a workshop stamp to the reverse
Measurements: two inches including the ring. The antique Victorian 9ct Gold chain measures 18 inches. It does show some kinks but we feel perfectly flatters this piece.
