Antique Edwardian Diamond Half Hoop Engagement Ring

Just adorable! All original, this antique Edwardian era Sapphire and Diamond five stone half hoop engagement ring dates to the 1900's/10's or so and features five antique hand cut Diamonds.

A super choice for reasons of originality and ethicality, all is in nice condition and ready to make her way to the heart of her new owner!

The adorably hand cut natural Diamonds are very beautiful and captivatingly glittery, with some warm variation in the colour which adds interest and character. Cossetted in Georgian style Silver collets on a gallery and band of 18ct yellow Gold which has a gentle smooth gleam. We particularly love the detail in the ribbed shoulders which are typical of the time. Easy to wear and with a romanticism which is unique and ever potent. 

Stones: natural hand cut Diamonds. The gems measure at 0.05: 0.08: 0.10: 0.08: 0.05ct with a Schindler gauge; a combined weight of around 0.36ct. Read about Old European Cut Diamonds in our blog article here. 

Metal: 18ct yellow Gold to the band and Silver to the setting, marked '18CT' with a workshop stamp as was custom in the day.
