Circa 1930's, a vintage Emerald & Diamond trilogy engagement ring, wonderfully in almost unworn condition and available for one very special person! Carefully crafted in 18ct yellow Gold with a delicately scalloped Platinum setting to the gemstones, which are of the utmost loveliness being both clean and bright; full of sparkle.
The Emerald is most likely of Columbian origin as it has that distinctive and desired cool minty green; and if you look deeply you'll see the naturally speckled and mossy 'jardin' inclusions which are characteristic of Emeralds.
A sparkly counterpoint to each side: the hand cut natural Diamonds were recycled at the time of creation as they are of an older cut (which you can see on magnification). With a plump profile and larger facets than seen nowadays, they have a flashy glitter and each has a unique and interesting fascination.
Stones: Natural Diamonds and Emerald. Each Diamond is judged as weighing around 0.30ct (measured with a Schindler gauge in the setting)
Ring Size: M or 6.25 and suitable for some adjustment
Metal: 18ct & Platinum (stamped inside the band)
In most case the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
