Neatly perfect in the most most minutely beautiful construction, a vintage 1930's/40's era daisy Sapphire and Diamond cluster engagement ring. Crafted entirely by hand with great care and attention, the whole is a pretty example of its kind and would make a very special gift. The Sapphires is that bright sparkly blue characteristic of these antique stones from older mines, and the Diamonds are older brilliants which have a fabulously glittery impact.
So different to what can be found on the high street in terms of similar designs nowadays and of course ethically sound as a choice; the setting is of fine Platinum and the hand pierced gallery and band of 18ct yellow Gold, as marked '18Ct' 'PLAT' inside the band.
Stones: natural Sapphire and Diamonds
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold to the band and Platinum to the setting of the gems
Ring Size: M or 6 as is but easy to alter the size
Measurements: the cluster measures 9mm across
In most case the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
