Adorable Georgian Black Dot Paste Star Brooch

Circa 1800, a shimmery and precious antique Georgian eight pointed star brooch, one of the most symbolic and adored symbols of the time. Entirely hand crafted in an intricate geometry of hand faceted and foiled Paste 'gems' which for their two centuries remain in lovely condition. A gorgeous and original gift.  

There was once a small repair to one of the points, where the 'arm' has one less gems, and possibly on very close inspection a couple of replacement gems, but all commensurate with age and use and not detrimental to continued wear and love. The whole measures a touch over an inch across.
