A rare and lovely antique Edwardian period brooch set with a central plump cushion shaped warm cinnamon coloured Citrine, surrounded by bright calibre cut Rubies and a ribbon of glittery brilliant-cut Diamonds. The whole structure is in 18ct yellow gold and as you would expect, hand crafted, with a fine millgrained platinum setting to the Diamonds. It is a perfect size and easy to wear as it lies comfortably flat.
Closes with a safety catch, for scale the measurements are 3.5cm by 3cm. Condition note: one of the Rubies has been replaced, but not easily detectable.
