A scarce antique necklace of 119 rare hand drilled natural Saltwater Pearls strung as a classic necklet to sit closely circling the base of the neck. Each its own individual baroque shape and lustre, dictated by the size of and their position in the Oyster shell; these rare creamy hued beauties were so desired and sought after in their day before the advent of the Pearl culturing process.
It fastens with an exquisite 9ct Gold barrel style 'fish hook' safety clasp and the Pearls are interspersed with 38 9ct Gold beads.
The necklace measures 15.5 inches in length and the Pearls vary in size from 2.3mm to 3.4mm. Newly knotted, they are presented alongside the report from Gem Lab confirming that they are of natural saltwater origin. Read further on the subject of Natural Pearls here.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
