Entirely unique and hand crafted, an antique jewel with (we are sure) a very interesting heritage, a gift for your Queen or King or just for yourself if you feel fitting. This jewel was once a brooch or pin but has been adapted to wear as a pendant on an antique 15ct Gold close curb chain measuring 16 inches (marked to the fastening). A sparkly Diamond monogram below a Ducal coronet, the whole is encrusted with tiny antique hand cut Diamonds, plundered (recycled) from some older jewels as they date to the 18th century or even earlier. In the field of crowned jewels, this piece is a one-off and we are urgently searching for a fitting home! Entirely hand crafted, there is such an abundance of charming detail in each and every aspect, the stones particularly so as each is individually faceted with the cutters eye reflecting the natural crystalline shape of each gem. Adorable and sooo interesting!
It measures 3cm and the fine trace chain 16 inches.
