Dating to 1870, an antique gem dress ring set with four glowy rainbow crystal Opal cabochons. Very sweet and modestly modelled to a simple design with allows the elements to speak for themselves. Hand crafted in 15ct Gold which was a standard used solely in Britain between the years of 1854-1932 all has a gentle harmony which carries nicely down the years...
Stones: natural Crystal Opal cabochons. These may be a later replacement as Opals were uncommon at the time this ring was made.
Metal: 15ct yellow Gold marked with a full hallmark applied at the Birmingham Assay Office in 1870.
Ring Size: M or 6.25 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
