Engraved with a design of Rose (for LOVE) continuing around the band, an antique late Victorian wedding band in gently softened condition and ready to celebrate a new love story in the 21st century.
Metal: Sterling Silver hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office in 1887. In the images you may see the remains of a Gold plating to the inner ring. This was to keep the finger from blackening. There is a maker's mark S & G inside the band but we're not sure who this was.
Ring Size: Q or 8 as is and unsuitable for alteration.
Measurements: 7.5mm wide, it is a low 'D' shape in section.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
