A scarce antique necklace of 196 rare hand drilled natural Saltwater Pearls strung as a classic necklet finely graduated in size to flatter and elongate the neck beautifully. Of superior roundness and lustre, these rare miniature creamy hued beauties were so desired and sought after in their day before the advent of the Pearl culturing process.
It fastens with an exquisite 18ct Gold and Silver Art Deco styled clasp with an integral safety clasp set with a Sapphire and two teeny rose-cut Diamonds.
Hand knotted each bead, they are presented in an antique silk lined box alongside the report from Gem Lab confirming that they are of natural saltwater origin.

Stones: Wild natural Sea Pearls which graduate in size from 1.6mm at the clasp to 4.1mm at the centre front.
Metal: 18ct Gold and Silver.
Measurements: The necklace measures 14.5 inches in length.
