A beautiful vintage blue Zircon and Diamond trilogy style ring dating to 1974 and nicely hand crafted in 18ct yellow Gold with a white setting to the gems. Blue Zircon in this gorgeous bright 'STARLIGHT' shade was a very fashionable novelty at the time.
The 'Starlight' blue Ziron is nicely sparkly with a firey glitter to the edges; (we have had it repolished by our lapidarist), and the natural Diamonds have a delightful fizzy brilliance. The feature stone is a cute cushiony oval shape and the whole mount pleasingly balanced to sit neatly on the finger.
A lovely choice for a special birthday perhaps!
Stones: starlight blue Zircon and hand cut natural Diamonds.
Metal: 18ct white Gold, hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office in 1974. 'STARLIGHT' is stamped inside the band. Weighs 3.65 grams
Ring Size: a ring size 'i' or '4.25' as is and possible to alter to suit on request.
In most case the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
