Lovingly re-vamped in our workshop, this beloved antique mid 19th century Victorian ring is quite a special piece!
Dating to the 1850's or so when this revivalist style was very fashionable, we have had the enamel work cleverly restored to its original glory by our skilled enamellist Katja and she was so pleased with the result! It picks out beautiful arabesques to the shoulders and in the cups to the setting around the gems; very much in the Renaissance style which was seeing a revival at the time. There are similar rings in Museums across Europe.
Entirely hand crafted, this very special finger jewel clasps a rare and gently lustrous creamy toned natural Pearl between two twinkly old hand cut Diamonds; every aspect showing the handiwork of artisans to bring the design to life...
Stones: Natural Pearl, natural Diamond and Enamel
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold, tested but unmarked.
Ring Size: N or 6.75 as is but unsuitable to alter due to the enamelwork.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
