Ornamented with beautiful and contrasting molded decoration, this vintage 1940's era locket is a pretty and sentimental find which would make a special gift.
With pleasing hand engraved scalloped edging around the central panel, and with IVY leaves (symbolising the ties of LOVE0 to the reverse. How lovely! It is a softly coloured 9ct yellow Gold and retains both frames to keep your keepsakes safe!
Metal: 9ct Gold 'back & front' meaning that the hinges and frames are of a base metal for strength (marked 9CT B&F)
Measurements: The round measures 2.cm diameter and the 18ct yellow Gold plated Silver rope chain measures 18 inches.
In most case the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
