An exciting find, these loveliest of old earrings are a rhapsody of exquisiteness, distinctively in the French style dating to the late 19th century. A fine pair of 18ct Gold dormeuse earrings which form a lustrous lacy floral ornamentation studded with miniature wild Pearls. All very special and in perfect condition.
Cleverly fashioned and wholly hand crafted, light and lovely they are decorated with star motifs to the centre, very much in the fashion of the time and with such a striking and romantic historical look.
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold with French Assay marks to the fittings. The wires are fitted with safety backs making them nicely secure.
Stones: split natural Sea Pearls
Measurements: they measure half an inch from the top of the wire to the base.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
