A twinkling constellation of old 'rose' style hand cut Diamonds to each ear, these darling little beauties dance quite beautifully at each turn of the head as the light hits upon the quirky old hand hewed facets; the display of glittery prettiness casting a spell unique and scintillating.
Of Continental origin, they date to the mid 20th century and are fashioned with 18ct yellow Gold fittings; the Diamonds dating to an earlier time and so being recycled in making these gorgeous earblings! Read about Rose Cut Diamonds here.
The handcraftedness captures the heart as you consider the painstaking work that brought them to being, and presented in a vintage velveteen lined case, they would make a precious choice as a gift for a special birthday or anniversary.
Stones: natural hand cut 'Rose' style natural Diamonds. It is very tricky to assess the weight of the stones as they are flat backed and in the setting, however we estimate around 0.50ct to each (one carat combined).
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold (unmarked but tested)
Measurements: a touch over one inch from the top of the wires
