This antique mellowness of this old signet ring is a most special piece to enjoy. It dates to the early 19th century and the traditional shield shape is of carved semi-translucent white Chalcedony between fabulously decorative shoulders which give a gorgeous heraldic vibe. We love!
A Cinderella piece as we can't alter the size due to the construction, but it is possible to personalise with a hand engraved intaglio as we have a clever artisan lapidary engraver close by. This adds a small cost of around £250 as it is a skilled art but would make this piece beautifully symbolic for the right person.
Stone: White Chalcedony
Metal: 9ct yellow Gold over a base metal form (Gold cased). If you look closely at the shoulders you can see the darkened areas where this is worn.
Ring Size: The ring size is a 'N' or '6.5' and no alteration is possible due to the construction.
Boxes shown are for display only, but a nice quality reproduction Victoriana box will accompany this piece.
