An enchanting prospect! All original and in wonderful condition, this antique Diamond engagement ring was created around 1900 in the spirit of adoration of historical jewels inspired by the great Arts Movements in the 19th century. Five exceptionally bright old hand cut Diamonds rest upon an intricately carved gallery fashioned in 22ct yellow Gold which has a softly mellow hue. The gently twinkling gems are faceted in that ideal which existed around 1890-1920 with larger facets and a slightly quirky personality, as each has its own unique shaping dictated by the cutter's hand; a little world of its own being faceted by hand without the benefit of modern tools.
The whole has a harmony of design and would be a lovely (and ethically sound) choice for an engagement or even anniversary. Too special for any more words... you'll be stunned by her beauty!
Stones: The stones measure at around 0.08: 0.12: 0.20: 0.12: 0.08ct (0.60ct combined) judged using a Schindler Gauge
Metal: 22ct Gold marked inside the band with a workshop stamp '22CT'
Ring Size: The ring will sit neatly next to a wedding band and the size is an 'L' or '5.5' but could easily be adjusted to suit, simply leave us a message on your order form.
