A classic solitaire engagement ring in a neat and pretty style to show off this fabulously sparkly antique 1.11ct Old European cut Diamond which would have been cut by hand around 1900. Especially lovely; the well matched facets are larger and more glinty than in a modern brilliant-cut Diamond... each and every stone is a work of many hours consideration and labour and has its own individual personality. Recycling a vintage engagement ring is a super choice for reasons of originality as well as ethicality.
With tiny hearts around the coronet setting and four extra little sparkles line the shoulders, which delicately tapered, leads to the sturdy band. The metal is 950 standard Platinum and the mount dates to 2001 with a Sheffield hallmark; the ring size is an 'L' or '5.75' as is but can easily be altered to suit.
We have had the stone unset and certificated at the Birmingham Assay Office as K colour and SI1 clarity (faint tint and slightly included). We include the certificate as well as a valuation for insurance with purchase.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
