Entirely unique and hand crafted, a beautiful vintage Diamond Daisy engagement ring dating to the 1940's and very special as she was made using recycled antique hand cut Diamonds. A lovesome creation symbolising a perennial romance.
The old recycled Diamonds have that fabulous shimmery glisten, less harsh than modern brilliant-cuts and each stone having its own individual personality. See our magnified images. With hand engraved details to the shoulders, each holding a tiny old Diamond and adding to the enchantment of the whole, the feature stones are mounted in smooth rubover settings of Platinum which is both strong and safe as there are no 'catchy' elements to the design.

Stones: natural antique hand cut Diamonds measured at around 0.05ct each in the setting using a Schindler gauge. Combined weight 0.35ct excluding the shoulder stones.
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold to the band and Platinum to the setting. Both marked inside the band with workshops stamps '18CT' 'PLAT' alongside the maker's mark for A.H.Darby and Sons; these used in the 1944-55.
Ring Size: K and a half or 5.5 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
Measurements: the cluster measures 8.5mm across the 'face'.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
