A super-scintillating and lovely quality vintage Diamond engagement ring, all hand crafted and ready to start a romantic new chapter....
Dating we believe to the 1940's or so and remaining in excellent condition: a classic design which never dates. The natural brilliant-cut Diamond is wonderfully fizzy to the eye (being considered the BEST cut to display the brilliance of the gem, and is set off with a trio of hand cut (recycled) Diamonds to the shoulders, all mounted in Platinum.
Once beloved, there is a faded engraving to the inner band which appears to be a dedication but we can't make it out unfortunately. We would pair her with a vintage hand engraved Platinum wedding band as she would have been back in the day.
An ethical choice as well as being original and unique.
Stones: natural Diamond measured at 0.50ct in the setting. It is an uncertificated stone but we can confirm nicely white with tiny natural inclusions only visible with a 10 x loupe.
Metal: Platinum, tested but unmarked as the metal didn't have a hallmark in the UK until 1975.
Ring Size: M or 6 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
