Simply lovely and in the classic solitaire design which has been popular since the 1920's, this vintage Diamond engagement ring dates to the mid 20th century and features a recycled antique Old European cut Diamond measuring at 0.40ct. Mounted in fine Platinum with extra Diamond sparkles to the hand engraved shoulders, the whole is fashioned by hand with an 18ct yellow Gold band and gallery adding warmth to the arrangement.
The old Diamond has hand cut facets (see our magnified images) and is beautifully white with a captivating scintillation which is an everyday joy. Choosing to buy secondhand or vintage really has that comforting security of knowing that you are making the best ethical choice as well as valuing originality and handcraftship.
Sitting neatly next to a wedding band, we can alter the ring size to suit, simply leave us a message on your order form. It measures as an 'O' or '7' as is. We will include an insurance valuation certificate.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
