The sweetest, most lovely little hand crafted antique Diamond engagement ring. Every aspect carefully considered and beautifully balanced to the eye (and heart), one can feel the wonder of the natural elements which she is borne from.
The glittery old Diamond was cut before the advent of electrical tools and in what was considered the most perfect cut of the day: the transitional, or old European cut. Read about it here. There are also rose-cut Diamonds to the shoulders, these much older and recycled in the making of this ring, having been salvaged from an earlier jewel.
One of the aspects which we really love is the hand cut coronet setting to the stones.. look closely, its soo pretty!
One-off and entirely unique, you'll never see another the same. Also a very positive choice for ethical reasons.
Stones: antique natural hand cut Diamond weighed at 0.43ct.
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold to the band and Platinum to the setting of the gems. Both tested but unmarked.
Ring Size: K or 5.25 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
