Nicely decorated with lovely applied hand engraved details depicting a Lucky Horseshoe and a Rose (for LOVE) in the romantic taste to capture a moment in fashion at which lockets were enormously popular.
This piece dates to 1890 and is of Sterling Silver with both original frames intact inside to hold safe your precious keepsakes, especially lovely as a gift for a special occasion.
Metal: Sterling Silver with a faded Gold wash. Dated with a full Birmingham hallmark to 1890.
Measurements: the locket measures 2.5cm lengthwise excluding the bale. The belcher link chain measures 18 inches.
