Beautifully classic and of superior quality, an antique Sapphire and Diamond engagement ring in the craved half hoop style which was immensely popular at the time. Dating to 1904, this ring remains in super condition and is nicely appointed with gorgeously sparkly natural gems; the Sapphires a most luscious velvetty blue, and the Diamonds icily white and hand cut.
All hand crafted in 18ct yellow Gold with rich hand carving to the shoulders after an Arts & Crafts mood; a very special choice for a vintage loving fiancée. Every aspect recycled and so ethically sound as well as being a lovesome little work of art!
Stones: natural Sapphires and Diamonds (each of the Diamonds measures at around 0.16ct judged in the setting with a Schindler Gauge).
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold hallmarked at the (now closed) Chester Assay Office in 1904. Weighs 4.75 grams.
Ring Size: M or 6.25 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
