A one-of-a-kind vintage dress ring with a mysterious and magical aura. The confidently feminine presence is both intriguing and powerful, this is a jewel which will always garner admiring glances! Hand crafted in 18ct Gold, the luminous Pearl is held in a cluster of faceted Paste 'gems' in imitation of Diamonds.
An early half round Mabe Cultured Pearl, the pale moonglow lustre of this specimen leads us to believe it was likely cultivated in an 'Pteria Penguin' shell. Mabe Pearls grow layers of lustrous nacre upon a mother-of pearl nucleus attached to the inside shell of the mollusc (this can take several years).
Circa 1940's, it is an interesting piece for the collector of Pearls...
Stones: faceted Paste 'gems' and Mabe Pearl
Metal: 18ct Gold marked with French Assay stamps to the outer band.
Ring Size: The ring size is a 'O' or '7.25' but could be altered somewhat to suit. Just leave us a message on your order form. The Pearl measures half an inch across.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
