We believe these striking antique earrings originate in the styles of French regional jewellery, possibly from Arles or Provence. We'll continue to research but as is we present a very charming picture of ornamentation which have a romantic vintage feel and would make a lovely gift.
Dating to the 19th century they are crafted of Silver on 18ct yellow Gold earwires and ornamented with hand cut 'senaille' Diamonds, which glint against the Silver, there are also elements of rich aubergine hued enamel to some of the sections. They are nicely articulated with a beautiful movement when worn.
Measures 5cm from the wires.
