Dating to the 1830's or so, an antique Georgian half hoop band ring set with a pair of Forget-me-nots picked out in cabochon bright blue Turquoises and lustrous wild Sea Pearls, these framing a True Lover's Knot of rich 18ct Gold. Oh, so special and romantic!
In a style which was much loved at the time, gem set rings were immensely fashionable amongst those who could afford them. See the portrait of Madame de Senonnes in our images.
The Turquoise has long been associated with Love and the Forget-me-not flower, and as such this tiny antique ring would make a most original gift for your fondest one. For considered and careful wear as this is an antique piece which wasn't built for the rigours of 20th century life!
Stones: Turquoise and Natural Pearls.
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold (tested but unmarked).
Ring Size: M and a half or 6.5 and no adjustment possible due to the age and delicacy of this piece.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift. You can download our handy ring sizing guide here, but don't hesitate to contact us if you need further help with this. If visiting us size adjustments can usually be done in around an hour-ish.
