A poignantly petite antique trinket from two centuries ago, entirely hand crafted in the form of the tiniest miniature fichu pin with an even smaller central locket compartment! sentimental jewels such as these were an important facet of Georgian culture and this diminutive antique jewel will have once been someone's treasured ornament.

Stones: hand cut glass 'gems' imitating Garnets around a glass locket.
Metal: base metal to the pendant on a fine gilded Silver chain measuring 18 inches. There is evidence of her previous life to the reverse as her pin has been removed.
Measurements: the pendant measures 9mm lengthwise.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
