Dating to the 1830's or so, an antique Georgian half hoop band ring set with a graduating line of cabochon green Turquoises and lustrous wild Sea Pearls. In a style which was much loved at the time, gem set rings were immensely fashionable amongst those who could afford them. See the portrait of Madame de Senonnes in our images.
The Turquoises have darkened over time from their original blue and we believe that the band was replaced at some time. All part of herstory...
For considered and careful wear as this is an antique piece which wasn't built for the rigours of 20th century life!
Stones: green Turquoise and Natural Pearls.
Metal: 9ct yellow Gold (tested but unmarked).
Ring Size: O and a half or 7.25 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
