A darling little antique gypsy set Diamond ring dating to the early years of the 20th century and in an unusually gorgeous design with scrolly shoulders and a squared central panel; both set with natural hand cut gems.
The old Diamond is a slightly oval shape and was cut by hand in the old mine way with larger facets and a great charm which carries a gentle sparkle down the years. The starred setting was known at the time as a 'Gypsy' style; we have a fancy to reflect the idea of fortune telling and our futures as shown in the stars... the elegantly tapered shape feels familiar and beloved on the finger and we know her next owner will appreciate these thoughts and feelings as we do.
Ring Size: P or 7.5 as is but we can alter a little to suit. This service is free. There is an historic sizing which will be addressed when we adjust for her new owner.
Metal: 15ct Yellow Gold hallmarked in Birmingham. This was a standard used solely in Britain between the years of 1854-1932.
Stones: Old hand cut natural Diamond and Rubies.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
