Divinely lovely, this antique Edwardian era picture locket dates to around 1913, as it still holds an original photograph which is dated '14/9/1913' to the reverse; if only we knew who she was! Beautifully ornamented with a border of miniature rose-cut Diamonds and Rubies and holding a small baroque shaped natural Pearl below; all perfectly captures the elegant Edwardian aesthetic.
The image can easily be replaced.
Stones: hand cut natural Diamonds and Vernieul Rubies.
Metal: 18ct Gold and fine Platinum. Weighs 6.6 grams.
Measurements: the locket measures 2.5cm across and 5cm lengthwise.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
