Circa 1860's, a touchingly beautiful antique Victorian locket in .......... Gold ornamented with a Diamond set posy. Such a happy find! The posy is crafted in Silver and set with miniature antique rose-cut Diamonds which would have been recycled at the time of making and are so, so cute! The smoothness of the Gold is gorgeously tactile and the whole resembles a button. It would make the most special gift.
We've not opened the locket (but may be able to do so for you)... her last owner left a precious memory inside the glassed compartment; a sweetly hand crafted Forget-me-not flower of astonishing tininess fashioned from human hair! The unusual facetted rope style chain measures at 16 inches and has a full 9ct Gold hallmark for 1988. The locket itself measures 17.6mm across.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
