Oh, 'sigh'.... a most lovesome romance dating back some 150 years or so and as charming now as she was then... A very special gift as an expression of fond regard with the sweet hidden message to 'forget-me-not' as discussed in the Language of Flowers.
The lover's knot design is cleverly embossed with miniature Forget-me-nots which have been gently enamelled in shades of pale blue and white. Pure loveliness! The central Diamond was cut by hand and twinkles adorably whilst the tiny drop moves alluringly at every movement.
Crafted of 15ct Gold (a standard which was used solely in Britain between 1854-1932), this piece is likely an historic conversion from a stick pin or brooch, the 15ct Gold band itself is ribbed in the Georgian style (worked by hand) and the decorative portion dating to the 1860's or so.
The ring size measures as an 'N' or '6.75' and we're unable to alter due to the design.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
