In the Gothic Revival style, this weeny little piece of antiquery dates to the mid 19th century and in mood looks back to medieval times for inspiration including that seen in ecclesiastical settings. In 9ct Gold with a rich molded design around the central deepest red Pyrope Garnet. Likely once part of a larger jewel, this tiny charm still has a powerful aura... a pop of blood; a protective device associated at the time with the blood of Christ.
