A sensationally confident vintage 1980's era synthetic Alexandrite pendant mounted in gorgeous Gold and giving all the purply vibes. The stone likely has its origin in Russia where the making of these stones has its history (read further about the process below). The chain is a hollow construction for lightness.
Stones: Synthetic Alexandrite
Metal: 9ct yellow Gold to the chain which dates to 1988 with a hallmark on the clasp. It weighs 5.2 grams. The setting to the stone is of solid 18ct yellow Gold (tested).
Measurements: the chain measures 18 inches and closes with a nice lobster style clasp. The pendant measures 11.5mm by 14mm.
