Nicely hand made, this antique mourning brooch is dedicated to the memory of 'George Tomkyns'. Sweetly decorative with floral shaping to the frames which border the black enamel to express the sorrow of the wearer and around the rock crystal section which holds a plaited section of his hair. These pieces are so touching, their existence an intimate expression of the depth of emotion felt in his loss.
In gold with a base metal pin.
