The Pansy ring was a very popular design of the 1820’s-40’s. Symbolising 'pensée' or 'thoughts' in French, this romantic sentiment blest on a ring had the power to keep a loved one close and fully captures the sentimental spirit of the times. Set with five wild Pearls around a tiny warm Ruby spark, all is perfectly lovely and remains in good condition considering her age.
In 18ct yellow Gold, with asymmetric Rococo styled carved shoulders as the entwined leafery, the band is fully engraved and measures at a size 'J and a half' or '5'.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
