Fashioned with a romantic mind, seeing beauty in the natural world, this gorgeous and unusual antique ring sparkles with what would have been rare foresty green Demantoid Garnets and old hand cut Diamonds... Demantoid green garnet was first discovered in the Ural Mountains of Russia in the 1850's and was a novelty and a favourite of their Royal family.
The design with gemstones set across the finger is one which was popular at the time; this example unusual in the asymmetry of the arrangement, fashioned by hand with exquisite scrolled carving at the shoulders. Very special and a lovely choice for the lover of history as there is much to appreciate in this way.
Ring Size: J or 4.75 as is and some small alteration is possible by a maximum of two sizes
