Circa 1860's, a unique pair of Coral (Corallium Rubrum species) and 15ct yellow Gold earrings in the Etruscan Revival style which was immensely fashionable at the time, inspired by jewels seen in museums which were unearthed at archaeological digs in ancient Etruria.
Fashioned entirely by hand with the tiniest of pretty details to the fluted cup and an unusual articulatory mechanism which allows them to dangle so prettily. A scarce find, and you'll never see another pair the same.

Stones: natural Mediterranean Coral
Metal: 15ct Gold, marked to the reverse of the fittings '15CT'. This was a standard used solely in Britain between the years of 1854-1932 and for better quality jewellery.
Measurements: They measure just over 3.5cm from the top of the wires.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift. You can download our handy ring sizing guide here, but don't hesitate to contact us if you need further help with this. If visiting us size adjustments can usually be done in around an hour-ish.
