A very special and unique vintage Diamond full eternity ring fully set with four carats of incredible antique 18th century hand cut Diamonds which were salvaged from some much older jewel and recycled in the making of this gorgeous ring. Such is the story of many older Diamonds, that their past is shrouded in mystery and there may have been many incarnations over the centuries. Intriguing!
Beautifully white and clean, each of these twenty rare and sought after olden Diamonds is cut to a recipe dating to the 17th century; each is slightly different to it's neighbour but faceted in the way of the famous Peruzzi cut. Read our BLOG post on the Peruzzi Cut here.
The ring itself likely dates to the 1920's or 30's and is entirely hand crafted all in Platinum (one can even see the saw marks to the reverse of the settings) with a beautifully delicate hand engraved edging to the sideview; it's these intimate touches which we delight in!
The ring size is an 'O' or '7' and can't be altered due to the design. It measures 4.4mm wide. We have estimated the Diamond weight on the side of caution.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
