Prized Rare Antique Georgian Diamond Ring

A miracle of beauteous romanticism!

An unusually glittery rebuild from an antique Georgian era ring, this is quite the luvliest we've spied in a good while. A wondrous prize for the lucky collector, this piece is in incredible condition and is an all round charming proposition. 

The original historic 1800's jewel has been used as a base to craft a custom creation, entirely hand made and unique, worthy of a place in a museum. A mesmerising maze of sparkle; the centre stone is a fascinating brilliant-cut Natural Diamond measuring at 0.80ct (judged in the setting with a Schindler gauge) and there are eight further brilliant cut Diamonds, one to each petal of the magical flowerette. The design a fusion of Rococo style band with a dazzling floral tribute! 

All is set in a richly golden 18ct yellow Gold with the gems in the cut down setting of the time laid over the original frame of the Georgian ring which has darkened beautifully with the years. All is very twinkly and and pretty, the Diamonds dancing as they would originally have under candlelight. Inside the band is a faded dedication which we’ve not yet been able to decipher… 

This ring cannot be sized without spoiling the decoration to the band, so she is a Cinderella piece!

Stones: natural brilliant-cut Diamonds: 0.80ct to the centre and 8 x 0.16ct plus 2 x 0.05 and 2 x 0.03ct. A total of around 2.24cts. The stones are as bright and clean as one could wish for...overall superior quality. 

Ring Size: The size measures at an 'M' or '6.25' and as it has a large 'face' works very well on the middle finger. 

Measurements: The cluster measures 14.52mm by 13.71mm across. The gems are foiled and so this piece cannot be worn in water without risking damage.
