A unique creation which was put together in our workshop, this genuinely lovely engagement ring pairs an antique hand cut natural Sapphire (weighing 0.65ct) with a new setting. The gorgeous antique gem has all the intense colour, interesting qualities and personality which we enjoy so much in these old stones, and it has a certificate from the gemmology lab at Birmingham Assay Office.
The charm is in the brightness and saturation of the azure hued antique Sapphire. It has subdued electric blue glitter which emanates from the edges of the plump facets and the individuality it shows in the work of the hand cutter is fabulous.
The band is of 18ct yellow Gold with delightful hand engraved scrolled touches to the shoulders; the glimmery olden Sapphire clasped in strong Platinum claws... the design as simple as possible in order to show off the gemstone to best effect.
The whole sits neatly next to a wedding band; the ring size can be altered to fit; it measures a 'P' or '7.5' as is.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
