If you're a lover of fine wines, as these charming ladies are, these are the perfect antique cameos for you...as the fine carving depicts Bacchante, the female devotee of Bacchus the god of wine. Her hair decorated with vine leaves and grape clusters, she's ready to party!
A fabulous pair of pear shaped antique Victorian shell Cameo earrings, hand carved likely in Italy with profiles of Bacchante goddesses in the historic style. Hand crafted in Silver with a crimped edging, they would be a perfect gift for the modern wine loving lady, celebrating as they do the priestesses and followers of the Roman God of Wine Bacchus or Dionysius in Greek culture.
They measure 4cm and hang at 5cm including the fittings.
